Blenders

Here’s a new take on the blender lamp concept. It uses a color-changing LED (sorry, no video this time), or you can swap in a clear, antique-style bulb.

It’s a little bit spaceship, a little bit mad scientist, and a whole lot of fun. I call it The Lamp with Two Brains. Visit my Etsy shop for details.

Our Lady of Perpetual Daiquiris

This particular lamp has been sold, but I have a very similar one available in my Etsy shop.

The one below sold to a buyer on Etsy. She wrote to me a few weeks later:

I gave it to my brother-in-law as a housewarming gift, and he loves it so much, he is showing it off to all visitors like it’s a new puppy or something–it really is a fantastic item, and I just wanted to let you know that it’s not just me who thinks so.

This one can be changed for different occasions or moods with the interchangeable vellum inserts and/or colored bulbs. A therapist bought it. I’d love to know what she’s done with it: “The Doctor Is In”?

I wired up the original blender switch so that it turns the light on and off, and high or low, which makes it especially fun to play with.

If you have an old blender you’d like converted, drop me a line.
